I’ve been part of Avaava Oy’s design team for various projects designing area maps, tactile maps, signages and symbols, including presentation material and other graphics for print and production. The tactile maps have been made based on a concept developed and owned by Avaava and Hahmo Design Oy.
When Avaava Oy wanted to update their website they asked me to be in charge of the visual design. The goal for the design was to create a website that is fresh, stylish and truly accessible for all. The project was made in co-operation with D4-verkosto (D4-network) that is part of Kynnys ry, a cross-disability organization.
